You've all been very patient

Still doing mundane house stuff.  Not worth reporting here.  But I thought I would edit and share some video footage from the last trip -- huffing and puffing up to the Eisenhower-Johnson tunnel on I-70 eastbound, at 11,158 feet.

I haven't done much video during trips, simply because of the data they consume to upload.  I don't tend to hang out at places with public wi-fi, and when I do it's molasses slow.

So here 'tis, perhaps better late than never.  If you're reading this on email, you'll have to click through to the web site to view video.  And it's worth it to watch as full screen, using the little icon in the lower right of the YouTube frame.

It's quiet hereabouts

Cleaned out the Beast... have to take a vacuum down to the storage lot and finish the job.  Need to find a carwash place with an exterior slot so I can wash the last of the trip dust off, including some glue-y red Utah mud from that spot up above Moab.

Need to deal with the occasional slow leak from the kitchen faucet set.

It's time to start thinking about the next trip.  I'm thinking that I make a beeline for Wyoming and then poke around up there like I intended last time. Timing?  Sometime in mid-July, maybe?

Keep checking in, but there may not be much news from hereabouts for a while.

Home!

Now to unpack the rig before the heat of the day hits ...

(later) it's 105ยบ now.  Just got back from putting the Beast in storage.   Now to deal with all the piles of stuff I unloaded.
